Please, please don't laugh at my super boring 1 minute and 47 second video! My face isn't even on it, but I was so nervous! Anyway, here goes...how to make a ruffle video! I hope it helps someone in the world:0). If it helped you, let me know. If you laughed, don't let me know.
Oh thank you! I have had a sewing machine for two years just sitting and collecting dust! I actually got it out last week and started playing! So this will give me something to try! Thank you!
That was a very good video. That's my kind of sewing and I'm thinking about ways I can use it in a project of my own. Now, will you do a VIDEO tutorial on how to make a slip cover? hee hee. Seriously though, if you did, I'd pay money to watch it! ☺ Celeste
Celeste, I'm writing an ebook on how to make a slipcover, but I hope to be adding in some video for the squirel-ly parts. I guess that means i'll have to take a shower and put some make-up on.
Well my goal for today was to make a ruffled pillow cover for an existing throw pillow. I had made one before and let's just say it left a lot to be desired. I saw your tutorial this morning so I did it this way. Thank you! It was so much easier and much more professional looking. I am so impressed with my pillow, it looks store bought for sure. Thanks again!
Thank you SO MUCH!!! I just bought some fabric to make a slipcover (inspired after I found your blog!) for a chair I inherited from my great-Grandma. I wasn't sure how I was going to finish the bottom...now I know. Perfect timing! Keep these tutorials coming - LOVE them! Thanks again.
THANK YOU! I'm only laughing because you're so cute! :) Really, that was so simple, I think YOU should laugh at ME because I just wouldn't have known how to make a ruffle, were it not for your tutorial. Thanks!
I did not laugh... it was actually very helpful. I have been using your tutorial to make a slipcover for my ottoman this morning and I thought I'd check this out before I did the ruffle and I"m glad I did... I was going to baste it and pull the strings to make it ruffley... what a pain! Thanks you saved me a lot of time!
Well, I did not laugh!
ReplyDeleteI found it pretty useful actually. I'm a beginner to sewing and this was pretty helpfull!
