I was trying to take a picture of my friend's daughter, but that slipcover jumped in and was trying to get all the attention. They are attention-y like that.
This is my friend's sofa that we've been working on slipcovering! Wait til you see the result next week. You are going to die because it will be the star of the room!
This is my friend...sewing her little heart out. She is a big DIYer. I can't wait to show you her slipcover next week...along with some of her home. She painted her stairs too! I love painted stairs, don't you?

So I have a question for ya . . . I have several pieces I am dying to slipcover. But I haven't sewn since college and costume design class. I'm looking at picking up a second hand sewing machine. Would you suggests some makes and models that would work for a complete novice???? Thank you so much!
