Slipcover Retreat

 

For where two or more are gathered, there shalt be a slipcover retreat...according to my slipcover bible anyway.  Last weekend, I went To Gina's...a.k.a. Slipcover Chic to spend a couple of days with her.  Not only did I glean her slipcover wisdom and tips of the trade, but was inspired and encouraged by her hospitality.  I could sit on the back of her porch for.like.ever.  After a full day of slipcovering...we toasted to this gorgeous NC sunset!

She took me to her favorite furniture resale shop in Carolina Beach!  See that green table up there?  It was hard to walk away from!  It was the perfect height...width...AND with storage for fabric!  But I didn't bring it home.  I may have to make another trip back to pick that green beauty up!  We talked about life, liberty and the pursuit of slipcovers.  I love this community.

And speaking of community...I'm going to be joining some other slipcover lovelies at The Hickory Furniture Mart's Furniture Festival and Clearance Sale this Friday, July 26th and Saturday, July 27th.  We will be doing slipcover demonstrations.  So come ye come all to the Furniture Festival this weekend and introduce yourself!!
