| Today, I'm featuring my slipcover. The most loverly fabric ever on the whole entire planet. This was the most painstakingly slipcover to make. Right now, I have a LOVE/HATE relationship with my sewing machine who kept breaking the stinkin' thread at every inch I sewed. And I hate when I make a mistake and have to use that nasty seam ripper that I truly am grateful for. But, alas she is done and I must say she is perfect! |

ReplyDeleteLove it. Love it. :)
ReplyDeletetotally cute. And I hate my sewing machine now because the feed dogs broke while I was sewing a slipcover. ugh ugh ugh My machine does crazy stuff like that, breaking threads all the time etc. I hate it!
ReplyDeletebut love the slipcover :)
Oh what stunning fabric! Really beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove your style! I feel your pain with the sewing machine. Mine decided it will no longer hold a needle! UGH!
ReplyDeleteGet a Bernina! HAHAHA! But seriously...
ReplyDeleteAnd that slipcover is amazing. I'm currently making one for my sofa. My very first slipcover. It's not as difficult as I expected! Thanks for the inspiration!
Saw this on Pinterest. How, where do I purchase the $10 e-book to do slip covers myself?
ReplyDeleteWow. What a look. I know you'll sell it soon! It's REAL, and it's SPECTACULAR!
ReplyDeletePerfect? Let me be the judge. Ahhh I think you're right. I love it. Why every time I make a slip cover of my own it is in some bland solid earth tone. One reason might be my dogs and the need to wash the covers but... I love this look. Thanks for sharing your work!
ReplyDelete(Have you found a burr on your needle or what? I've had the issue before and changed the needle.)
My couch and wing chair need help! Is it possible for me to make slip covers if I don't know how to sew?
ReplyDeleteGirrrllllll....this is so adorable....and your work is so neat and so goooood! Hope it sells soon!
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love that chair!
