I get asked...on a weekly basis, if a leather sofa can be slipped. I, personally, have never slipcovered leather furniture. When I saw this post, I was absolutely wowed! It's one of the most amazing slipcover transformations I've seen. I stumbled upon this blog months ago and I've been meaning to feature her. Her name is Edith and she's a crafty, creative chic who blogs at Edee Nut.

Wow... she is SUPER talented and did an amazing job! And I have always answered "no" to the slipcover-over-leather question. Not so worried about the cushions as the overall body of the couch.

What a great slipcover! I have a slipcovered leather couch, too. I didn't make it because I don't have those mad sewing skills (yet!) but a local seamstress did it, and I just love my couch now. No more cold leather in the winter time!
ReplyDeleteI slipcovered my two leather club chairs and they turned out great. A little trickier because the leather is slippery to work with, but it can be done!
