Ballard Designs inspired Christmas Stockings

Last year I made some simple Christmas stockings. This year, we're in a new home...and I wanted something a little different. I saw this and many other stockings in Ballard Designs and was inspired to make my own. Although, I don't have a cute adorable garland like they have, but I do have a big fat T.V. staring at me!

I'm not completely in love with it...I think it needs a little somethin' somethin'...because I have so much spare time:0). NOT! If you're in the Raleigh, NC area this weekend, I'll be doing a craft show at Heather Hill's Clubhouse. I'm also contemplating a Christmas Open House Show at my home on Friday, Dec. 11th. I'll let you know and if you're in the area you can email me about coming. Are you making your stockings or decorations?

    Hey! I live right down the street from Heather Hills but I'm going to be at St Mary's on Vandora that day!
    I am also having an open house on Dec 11th, I've invited 2 other vendors too....Maybe we have friends in common and you could come to mine...I've already sent invites but can add some to the list. Who are you?!??

    Made all the ornaments for my tree this year. Made a wreath for the door. Making tons of gifts. This is the year for HOMEmade! I posted my tree that I decorated from top to bottom on a $20 budget. Over by a buck, but WHEW what a challenge!

    I think it's perfectly cute the way it is, but if you want to frou frou it up a little you could glue some dangle trim under the ruffle. The doctor won't let me travel any more and I was hoping to come to your show next week. It's right down the street from where I get my hair done, which needs some serious help :) But we are sending Noah to mom's to ride the Santa Train in Bonsal. Maybe I can catch you next year if you do more shows :) Good luck!!
