Here are a few lessons I learned in doing my first craft show:
1) Cheez-its, coke and reese cups are actually NOT in the food groups. Bart Simpson lied.
2) Drink coffee at night...ONLY if you want to burn the midnight oil!
3) Don't wait until 3 weeks before a show to get all your product together.
4) Hire your sister as a helper because she is ultra-detailed and can do math! Then pay her with merchandise!
5) Last, but not least, Do NOT do a craft show on the same day as your daughter's birthday party, but if you do...make it a roller skating party and let dad do all the work!
I had a blast and met some other bloggers...Heather from My Boys and Me and Sherry from Little Every Day Things.
I'll be getting ready for another show this weekend at New Bethel Baptist Church. So come! Don't forget Edie's 12 Days of Handmade Holiday's. She featured my apron tutorial this weekend. She's lovely like that.
Also, Mammalicious Finds is having a Twilight Saga Soiree this week with giveaways every day...so check it out. Whether you're Team Edward or Team Jacob, you can win one of my zippered pouch's!

Good for you! I find craft shows as hit or miss, but they can be fun and a good break from home!
Cute booth set up! I have a craft show this weekend. And I'm so not prepared.
That's too bad that reese cups are not part of the food groups. I could eat those all day!
I love the aprons you have on the stand there. That bright pink one out front looks fierce!
Craft shows are so hard - good for you!
It was so great to meet you on Saturday . . . and you had such great stuff!!! **If you ever happen to make any half-aprons (just the skirts), let me know. Heather
I certainly do feel famous now! It was a pleasure to meet you and your sister last weekend - you are both so sweet. Your items were wonderful and your display looked great. I love my coffee cup too :)Stop over for a visit anytime.
Such a cute booth display! I've always wanted to do a show. Wish I could have been there to see yours...but the belly is getting a little to large to travel these days :) Good luck on the next one!
Hi Pink & Polka-dot! Love your Twilight stuff! Check out my site this week for a New Moon countdown: http://www.shoezodiac.com.
I LOVE your display at the Craft Show!! I am so glad to see you are working so hard and everything looks wonderful!!! I miss you and want to place an order for that damask apron....TOO CUTE!!!
I think I saw you at the craft show down the street from me! Are you local to that? or did you travel? what craft show were you at?
I love your stuff by the way. I didn't have time to actually buy anything, I had my 4 kids with me.
