Just unscrew the seat from the underside of the chair, measure your fabric, staple on & screw the seat back on. I didn't even bother to take the old fabric off. Just staple on over the top. Such a simple freshen up!

Ok..I think this might be my 3rd message today... I guess that might qualify me as your newest stalker. But this is exactly what I need to do too. Dining Room Chairs. Did you think about putting that vinyl stuff on these chairs? How do you think that would have turned out? You make it sound so easy to just staple it on. I've been putting it off because it sounds so hard, and I havn't found fabric that I love yet....
